The Oriantal Medical Rehabilitational Treatment for Torticollis on the Basis of the Meridian-Muscle Theory

Abstract
|
|
|
The meridian-muscle theory is similar to myofascial pain syndrome in western medicine. Pathology of meridian-muscle is resemble to symptom of myofascial pain syndrome, and Ashi(V7it)-point of meridian-muscle is analogous to the trigger point of myofascial pain syndrome.
Ashi(FJ~U -point therapy, taping therapy, myofascial release technique, manipulation are operated on the basis of the meridian-muscle theory, and these therapy are efficacious against torticollis patient.
